A Personal Learning Experience

As a young elementary student, I struggled with math throughout many years of my learning experience. In the 5th grade, I finally met a teacher that changed my perspective on math, Mr. Hernandez. He chose to see me as not only as my struggle, but as a student, affecting my mathematical learning experience. 

Another Personal Learning Experience

I was always in tutoring for math, however, in the 7th grade, I had a tutoring experience that affected my math learning experiences. I had a teacher, who I won't name, that did not feel the worth in trying to help me understand math. I aspire to be a different teacher for my future students.
