An area that I can grow in mathematically currently is the fear of failing when teaching students math. As someone who struggled so badly with it, I am nervous to bring that affect into the classroom.

As a student, I struggled to have a positive mindset when learning math. I often found myself being harder on myself than needed when it came to anything math related.

My mathematical mindset has completely changed. I am eager to learn how to properly teach math so I can be a great teacher for my students!

As a student, an area I glowed in with math was letting teachers into my mathematical mindset. I had a hard time with math yes, but I allowed help to come into my life.

An area I glowed in as a student with math was not continuously giving up when I came across hard problems. I did give up time to time; however, I also tried again when I came across hard problems.
